Clinical columns — the questions that actually come up
Where the reference library answers “what is this product”, this is where we answer “what does that mean for me”. Written for the person who does not yet know which question to ask, rather than the one who already knows the product name. All written and reviewed by Dr. Lee Chi-Hak, in Korean and English. To start from a concern without knowing product names, see the treatment guides; for the difference between two products, the comparisons.
Why this is separate from the reference library
Product references have an end. Seven boosters and three lifting devices — once those ten are written, there is not much left to add.
But the questions people actually ask in the consulting room do not start with a product name. They are “the bruise is still there after two weeks, is that normal” and “what am I supposed to tell you beforehand”. Those questions are endless, and answers are hard to find — largely because no advertisement can be attached to them, so nobody writes them.
So this column starts from the situation, not the product. Different in kind, so kept separate.

The clinic keeps seven collagen and skin boosters with genuinely different mechanisms alongside three lifting devices, and selects among them according to what kind of ageing the face is actually showing. Our approach is restraint: choosing to do less is also a clinical decision.
