Juvelook is one formula placed at different depths, and the layer changes the concern, the tool and how treatment feels. No prices or photos.
The short answer
The manufacturer places Juvelook i, Skin and Juvelook in the dermis and Volume 100, Volume and G under the skin. Dermal products target texture, fine lines and pores; subcutaneous products target volume and contour. In a 21-person randomised trial of PDLLA with the same needle, subdermal injection scored 3.85 for pain versus 6.18 intradermally, and in a 40-patient study of needle-free Juvelook improvement kept rising to 24 weeks. In the dermis
- Small particles go in shallowly through fine needles at many points.
- Texture firms over weeks to months.
- The dermis is nerve-rich, so we start with plenty of numbing cream.
Under the skin
- Larger particles are placed broadly in the deeper plane by needle or cannula.
- Subdermal injection was less painful (3.85 vs 6.18 in a 21-person trial).
- Hyaluronic acid adds volume first; collagen and subcutaneous change build support gradually.
Needle-free delivery
In a 40-patient study of Juvelook delivered by needle-free microjet over five sessions, GAIS rose from 1.48 to 1.90 at 8 weeks and 2.16 at 24 weeks, with 2.3 mm change on 3D analysis — a good way to spread product evenly and shallowly over broad areas.
How I decide
- Concern → layer → product → tool.
- Needle or cannula is chosen for the patient and the area.
- Deep hollows are shaped first with HA filler; sagging is lifted first.
- Under the eyes we recommend other options first.
- Start small and review after a few weeks.
