Juvelook i, Juvelook, Volume and G — read by particle size
When patients ask what the i, Volume and G suffixes mean, my short answer is: different particle sizes. Here are the sizes from the manufacturer’s brochure and what they change in practice. No prices or photos.
The short answer
According to the manufacturer, Juvelook’s mean particle sizes are i 20 µm, Juvelook 24 µm, Volume 40 µm and G 65 µm. Each product’s size-distribution chart shows a single, tight peak. Small particles pass through fine needles and spread evenly in the dermis; large particles each occupy more volume and support broader planes under the skin. So i and Juvelook serve texture, and Volume and G serve volume. Miso Clinic in Daegu (4F Bombom Building, 125 Dongdeok-ro, Jung-gu, Daegu; +82 53-428-2700) stocks all four sizes and matches the size to the concern.
Particle size by product
| Product | Mean particle | Vial | Layer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Juvelook i | 20 µm | 30 mg | Dermis, rejuvenation |
| Juvelook | 24 µm | 50 mg | Dermis, rejuvenation |
| Juvelook Volume / Volume 100 | 40 µm | 200 / 100 mg | Subcutaneous, volume |
| Juvelook G | 65 µm | 200 mg | Subcutaneous, volume |
What particle size changes
- Needle — smaller particles allow finer needles, which are gentler on the skin.
- Particle count — for the same weight, small particles are far more numerous: about 26.5 million in a 30 mg i vial and about 21.6 million in a 50 mg Juvelook vial.
- Layer — small particles spread evenly in thin dermis; large ones support deeper, broader planes. One G particle occupies about 122,923 µm³, more than twice a smaller particle.
- How they stay — very small particles are cleared quickly by macrophages; appropriately sized ones stay and drive collagen. Juvelook’s 20–65 µm range is set within that window.
The order we choose in
Particle size follows from the concern and the layer.
- Texture, fine lines and pores: small dermal particles (i, Skin, Juvelook).
- Gentle hollows: larger subcutaneous particles (Volume 100, Volume, G).
- Deep hollows: shape first with hyaluronic acid filler, then build the base with Juvelook.
