How to check genuine Density Noir tips and shot counts — what should you look at during treatment?
“Did they really fire all 600 shots?” Many people getting RF lifting quietly wonder this. With Noir, the answer is on the screen. Here is what to look at.
The short answer
Density Noir shows real-time skin temperature, shot count and treatment progress on the handpiece LED, and output level, cooling level, shot count and delivered energy on the main screen. You can check for a genuine tip by whether a sealed package is opened just before treatment, whether the package carries a lot (batch) number, and whether you receive an authenticity certificate afterward. A genuine tip is a minimum condition, not a guarantee of results. At Miso Clinic, 4F Bombom Building, 125 Dongdeok-ro, Jung-gu, Daegu (Exit 1, Kyungpook Nat'l Univ. Hospital Station), +82-53-428-2700, every tip is a genuine Jeisys Medical tip and you receive an authenticity card after treatment.
What does the handpiece display?
There is a small LED screen on the side of the handpiece I hold. According to the manufacturer’s materials, it shows real-time skin temperature, shot (pulse) count and treatment progress. Buttons on the grip switch between standby and treatment and adjust the energy.
- Skin temperature: how warm the spot under the tip has become
- Shot count: how many times this tip has fired so far
- Treatment progress: how far along the current shot is

What can you see on the main screen?
The large screen on the device body shows the output level, cooling level, shots fired so far and the energy actually delivered. The type of tip attached also appears on screen.
When the treatment ends, you can look at the shot count on the screen with me. At Miso Clinic we record which tip and how many shots were used.

How do you check for a genuine tip?
| What to check | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Is a sealed package opened just before treatment? | You can see on the spot that it is not a used tip |
| Does the package carry a lot (batch) number? | Genuine tip packages have a printed batch number |
| Do you receive an authenticity certificate or card afterward? | Whether one is issued differs from clinic to clinic |
| Is there a record of which tip and how many shots? | It becomes the baseline for your next session |
These four are worth asking about wherever you have your consultation. At Miso Clinic, if you ask, we open the package and check the lot number with you before treatment.
Why does the tip need to be genuine?
The tip is where energy actually meets your skin, and it is a consumable made to be used up to a set number of shots. So “is it genuine?” is not just about the device body; it is about the tip touching your face today.
Tip types and shots per tip are covered in Density Noir tips and shot counts.
Why does the temperature display matter?
RF works with heat, so burns are the first side effect to manage. Noir keeps showing skin surface temperature during treatment and adds cooling according to the settings. I watch that number together with how you describe the heat.
The temperature display and cooling lower the risk; they do not make it zero. If you get a blister or a spot that keeps burning, contact us right away.
Does a genuine tip guarantee results?
No. A genuine tip is a minimum condition, not a guarantee. The actual result depends on whether your concern is the kind RF can help, and on which mode, tip and number of shots were used in which areas.
If you hear “it is genuine, so the effect is certain,” ask the next question too: how many shots go to which areas, and why they are split that way.
