Density Noir tip types and shot counts — what does 600 shots mean?
More people have been searching for “Density 600 shots in Daegu” lately. But “600 shots” is used both for the amount of treatment and for the life of one tip, which makes it easy to mix up. Let me start with the tip types and go step by step.
The short answer
Density Noir has several tip types for different areas and layers (8 by the manufacturer’s count), and each tip has a set number of shots it can deliver. In the manufacturer’s materials, the ALPHA tip is 600 shots at 4 cm² per shot, the Eye tip 600 shots at 0.25 cm², the Face tip 1,000 shots at 4 cm², and the Body tip 600 shots at 16 cm². So “600 shots” is also the same number as one full ALPHA tip. More shots are not automatically better; the count is set by the size of your face and how much it has sagged. At Miso Clinic, 4F Bombom Building, 125 Dongdeok-ro, Jung-gu, Daegu (Exit 1, Kyungpook Nat'l Univ. Hospital Station), +82-53-428-2700, the ALPHA tip is our default, with the BOOST tip when needed.
What tip types does Density Noir have?
| Tip | Shots per tip | Area per shot | Use |
|---|---|---|---|
| ALPHA | 600 shots | 2×2 cm = 4 cm² | Whole face; default tip at Miso Clinic |
| Eye | 600 shots | 0.5×0.5 cm = 0.25 cm² | Narrow areas such as around the eyes |
| Face | 1,000 shots | 2×2 cm = 4 cm² | Face |
| Body | 600 shots | 5×3.2 cm = 16 cm² | Wide areas such as the body |
Beyond these, Noir can use 8 tip types in all, including the bipolar-dedicated BOOST tip. At Miso Clinic the ALPHA tip is our default, and we add the BOOST tip when the shallow layer needs more work.

What does “600 shots” mean?
It is used in two ways. One is the amount of treatment: “your face gets 600 shots today.” The other is the life of a tip: “one ALPHA tip can fire up to 600 times.”
With the ALPHA tip, a 600-shot treatment uses up one whole tip on that face. So I suggest you ask “how many shots?” and also “will a new tip be opened?”
How do 300 shots and 600 shots differ?
On the same face, more shots let us pass over each area more densely and cover more ground. But there is no comparison study showing that “more shots give better results.”
- A small face with mild sagging can sometimes do well with fewer shots
- Covering the jawline and neck, or clearer sagging, needs more shots
- Spreading shots evenly across areas comes before firing a lot at once

Why does tip area matter?
Each tip covers a fixed area per shot, so the same shot count covers different amounts of skin depending on the tip. The ALPHA tip covers 4 cm² per shot, which suits broad areas of the face, while the Eye tip covers 0.25 cm², which suits narrow spots like around the eyes.
That is why comparing shot counts alone does not tell you whether two treatments are the same. You need to know which tip, and how many shots.
Can a tip be reused?
A tip is a consumable made to be used up to a set number of shots. It is the point where energy actually meets your skin, so whether a new genuine tip is opened is the first thing to check with this treatment.
I explain how to check in how to check genuine tips and shot counts.
How does Miso Clinic use tips?
- The ALPHA tip is our default, with the BOOST tip added for more work in the shallow layer
- Every tip we use is a genuine Jeisys Medical tip, and we give you an authenticity certificate (card) after treatment
- We record which tip and how many shots were used, as the baseline for your next session
Density Noir tips and shot counts: frequently asked questions
How many shots is a Density ALPHA tip?
According to the manufacturer’s materials, one ALPHA tip is 600 shots, covering 2×2 cm (4 cm²) per shot.
Does Density 600 shots mean one whole tip?
With the ALPHA tip, yes. A 600-shot treatment is the same amount as using up one ALPHA tip on that face.
Do more shots work better?
No comparison study shows that. Spreading shots evenly by area, to fit the size of your face and how much it has sagged, comes first.
