CELLREDM Specialist Doctor in Daegu — what does this designation mean?

A new plaque went up on my consulting room wall. Hugel, the company that distributes CellREDM in Korea, sent it on 31 August 2026 when they named me a CELLREDM Specialist Doctor. Rather than just showing it off, I want to write plainly about what it does and does not mean for you.

The short answer

Dr. Lee Chi-Hak of Miso Clinic in Daegu was named a CELLREDM Specialist Doctor by Hugel Inc. on 31 August 2026. Hugel gave clinical experience and expertise with CellREDM, and a patient-centred culture of safe treatment, as the reasons. This is a designation by the manufacturer/distributor, not a national qualification. It does not guarantee results and does not mean we are better than other clinics. At Miso Clinic, 4F Bombom Building, 125 Dongdeok-ro, Jung-gu, Daegu (Exit 1, Kyungpook Nat'l Univ. Hospital Station), +82-53-428-2700, I use CellREDM mainly on thin, sensitive areas such as around the eyes, and I first sort out whether your concern is density or volume.

Who decides who is a CELLREDM Specialist Doctor?

CellREDM is made by HansBiomed and sold in Korea by Hugel. Hugel chooses Specialist Doctors from among doctors who have worked with CellREDM consistently. Miso Clinic received the plaque dated 31 August 2026.

Why was I chosen?

The plaque lists three things: clinical experience and expertise with CellREDM, a patient-centred culture of safe treatment, and contribution to making CellREDM better known.

Of these, I take the words “patient-centred, safe treatment” to heart. The plaque records what has already happened. Every treatment still has to be done well, from the start, each time.

What does this designation not mean?

  • It is not a national or board qualification: it is a designation by the manufacturer/distributor
  • It does not guarantee results: results depend on your skin and on the treatment plan
  • It does not mean superiority over other clinics

So I do not hold this plaque up as proof that “we do it well.” I mention it for a single fact: that I have worked with CellREDM a great deal. What you should actually check is how we treat, described below.

What kind of product is CellREDM?

CellREDM at a glance
ItemDetails
Maker and distributorMade by HansBiomed, distributed in Korea by Hugel
Main ingredientExtracellular matrix from hADM (human acellular dermal matrix)
ParticlesAbout 75μm micro-particles (manufacturer’s published figure)
How it worksSupplies structural material directly, rather than prompting the skin to make collagen
Where it is mainly usedThin, sensitive areas such as around the eyes
What it cannot doLost volume, sagging contours, deep expression lines

It is made from donated human skin: the cells and DNA are removed, and the structural material that remains is broken into fine particles. More detail is on the CellREDM page.

How does Miso Clinic use CellREDM?

  • I first work out whether your concern is density and texture or volume: CellREDM does not create volume
  • I divide areas between CellREDM and Rituo (Re2O), another hADM product, by area and skin thickness
  • I show you the genuine product and its human-tissue labelling before treatment
  • I do not bundle sessions from the start; we decide after seeing how you respond
  • I do not treat during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if there is an infection at the treatment site

How far does the evidence go?

I will be honest here. hADM as a material has long been used in burn and breast reconstruction surgery, but I could not find any published clinical trial data for CellREDM as an individual product. So I do not promise “it lasts this many months” or “you need this many sessions.”

Being named a Specialist Doctor does not change that. Experience helps me refine the plan and the injection, and where the evidence has gaps, I fill them by telling you so.
