Everwrinkle vs Everwrinkle V — what is the same, and what is different?
When you look up Everwrinkle, both “Everwrinkle” and “Everwrinkle V” come up. The names suggest two different products, but once you put the manufacturer’s official information side by side, the difference is simpler than you might think.
The short answer
Everwrinkle and Everwrinkle V share the same ingredients (PLLA, CMC, mannitol), injection layer and approved use. The difference is how much is in one vial. Everwrinkle holds 121.7mg and Everwrinkle V holds 243.4mg, exactly twice as much, and according to press reports the PLLA content is 50mg and 100mg respectively. Choosing between them is closer to deciding whether a given amount is spread across the face or used generously over a wider area. We carry both products at Miso Clinic, 4F Bombom Building, 125 Dongdeok-ro, Jung-gu, Daegu (Exit 1, Kyungpook Nat'l Univ. Hospital Station), +82-53-428-2700.
How does the official information differ for Everwrinkle and Everwrinkle V?
| Item | Everwrinkle | Everwrinkle V |
|---|---|---|
| Size | 1 vial, 121.7mg | 1 vial, 243.4mg |
| PLLA (per press reports) | 50mg | 100mg |
| Ingredients | PLLA, CMC, mannitol | Same |
| Injection layer | Deep dermis or subcutaneous | Same |
| Approved use | Temporary improvement of moderate to severe nasolabial folds | Same |
| Storage | Room temperature at or below 30°C, do not freeze | Same |

What do 121.7mg and 243.4mg mean?
That is the total weight of the powder in the vial. Of that, PLLA is what actually triggers the collagen response. CMC and mannitol help the particles spread evenly and keep them from clumping.
If you divide the reported PLLA content (50mg and 100mg) by the total weight, it comes to about 41%. Sculptra has 150mg of PLLA in a 367.5mg vial, almost the same ratio. So an easy way to picture it: one vial of Everwrinkle holds about a third of the PLLA in a Sculptra vial, and Everwrinkle V about two thirds.
So is Everwrinkle V more effective?
No. A larger amount does not mean a better effect. It means enough product to cover a wider area or a more hollowed area. If the same area gets the same concentration, the result depends on the amount of PLLA placed, the layer and the interval, not on the name on the vial.
I could not find a study comparing the two products in the same people. The manufacturer also says only that they are “divided by treatment area and purpose.”
Which one do we choose, and when?
| Situation | What I consider first | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Treating only the nasolabial area | Everwrinkle | The area is small, so one vial is often enough |
| Nasolabial folds plus hollow front cheeks | Everwrinkle V | You need enough to divide over a wider area |
| First time receiving PLLA | Everwrinkle | We see how you respond with a smaller amount first |
| Responded well in a previous session | Depends on your face | We decide by how much hollowing remains |
The final choice is made after seeing your face. PLLA is given in divided sessions by nature, and I prefer splitting it up and watching the response over putting a lot in at once.
Does the amount of water for dilution change too?
PLLA is a powder mixed with water, so the dilution volume matters. Data on Sculptra, another PLLA product, show that nodules fell from 17.2% to 1.0% after the dilution volume was increased.
For Everwrinkle and Everwrinkle V we follow the dilution guidance in the product instructions, and since Everwrinkle V holds twice as much, we prepare correspondingly more water. Nodules are covered separately in Everwrinkle side effects and nodules.

- We decide “which area and how many sessions” before thinking about the vial name
- The first session starts with an amount that lets us see your response, and photos after 2–3 months guide the next step
Everwrinkle vs Everwrinkle V: frequently asked questions
What does the V in Everwrinkle V stand for?
I could not find any official explanation of the name from the manufacturer. The one difference confirmed in the official information is the vial size (121.7mg vs 243.4mg).
Do Everwrinkle and Everwrinkle V have different ingredients?
No. Both contain PLLA, CMC and mannitol, and the approved use is the same.
Does Everwrinkle V last longer?
No study has compared the two. How long results last depends on the amount of PLLA placed, the layer, the number of sessions and your own response, more than on the vial name.
