What did I bring back from the Daewoong / DNC Aesthetics DEEP Symposium?
Last Saturday, after clinic, I headed to Busan. I attended the DEEP Symposium, a professional training programme that Daewoong Pharmaceutical and DNC Aesthetics run for doctors. It was two days of sharing experience with other doctors about DCLASSY (CaHA) and REALLO (hADM), both of which we use at Miso Clinic.
The short answer
Dr. Lee Chi-Hak, Medical Director of Miso Clinic in Daegu, attended the “2026 3rd DEEP SYMPOSIUM — DAEWOONG / DNC AESTHETICS MEDICAL AESTHETIC EXPERT PROGRAM” at Lotte Hotel Busan on 24 (Sat)–25 (Sun) October 2026, and came back with up-to-date knowledge on DCLASSY CaHA and REALLO INJECT FINE (hADM). This year’s theme was “From Skin to Shape”: planning combination treatment that looks at one face as a whole, from skin texture to contour. Attending means I took part in a training programme run by the manufacturers and distributors; it is not a national qualification and does not guarantee results. At Miso Clinic, 4F Bombom Building, 125 Dongdeok-ro, Jung-gu, Daegu (Exit 1, Kyungpook Nat'l Univ. Hospital Station), +82-53-428-2700, I am already putting what I learned into DCLASSY and REALLO consultations and treatment plans.
What is the DEEP Symposium?
The DEEP Symposium is the DAEWOONG / DNC AESTHETICS MEDICAL AESTHETIC EXPERT PROGRAM, run jointly by Daewoong Pharmaceutical and DNC Aesthetics. As the name says, it is an expert training programme for doctors who use the two companies’ aesthetic products, and in 2026 it was held for the third time. It is not a consumer event: it is where doctors and speakers who actually use the products share cases and treatment planning.

What was this year’s theme?
Rather than trying to fix the whole face with one product, the focus was on working out what is lacking in the order skin texture → firmness → contour, and then choosing products. Day one covered how to build REALLO into plans for skin concerns. Day two used cases to show how DCLASSY, REALLO and thread lifting can be divided up when a patient wants more improvement after energy-based device treatment. There was also a remote live demonstration.

The part I took the longest notes on was the idea of “understanding each product’s properties and judging how to apply it for each patient.” I could set the questions I always ask myself in the consulting room side by side with other doctors’ cases.
What did we discuss about DCLASSY?
DCLASSY is a CaHA (calcium hydroxylapatite) collagen booster. It works in two stages: right after injection the gel creates volume, and once the gel is absorbed, collagen forms around the microspheres that remain.
- Depth and amount — because it cannot be reversed, we reconfirmed the rule of not injecting it shallow and not overcorrecting
- Planning by goal — set the goal first (lifting, contour or skin renewal), then choose areas and dilution (the manufacturer’s CAST-Code)
- Combinations — dividing roles, for example DCLASSY for volume and firmness, hADM for texture and density
I have set out its strengths and limits separately in DCLASSY CaHA: strengths and limits.
What did we discuss about REALLO (hADM)?
REALLO INJECT FINE is a particulate, freeze-dried acellular dermal matrix (hADM) made by CGBio. Rather than prompting the skin to make collagen, it directly supplies the material the skin is built from (extracellular matrix).
- Powder form — it is mixed with hydration fluid just before treatment, so the concentration can be adjusted to the area
- Dividing roles — it does not create volume, so we do not mix it with CaHA or fillers; we plan separate roles
- Duty to inform — we also covered that, because it is human tissue, patients must be told so before treatment
More detail is in REALLO INJECT FINE (hADM): its strengths.

What changes in my practice at Miso Clinic?
- In consultation, I make the first step clearer: is your main concern skin texture, firmness or contour?
- I keep to the rule of placing DCLASSY in deeper layers, in divided amounts, using less at the start
- I set REALLO alongside Rituo and CellREDM, the other hADM products we use, and choose by area and skin thickness
- Rather than putting several products in at once, I split treatment into sessions, watch how you respond, and then decide the next step
Attending a symposium means I studied; it does not mean I can promise results. But being able to test the judgements I usually make alone in the consulting room against other doctors’ cases is, I think, worth something to my patients too.
