Juvelook for the forehead — volume and texture, treated separately

The forehead often brings both volume and texture concerns. How we divide Juvelook between a flat forehead and fine lines. No prices or photos.

The short answer

For a flat forehead we use subcutaneous Juvelook Volume 100; for fine lines and texture, dermal Juvelook or Skin. The manufacturer lists the forehead among Volume 100’s uses. Under the skin, hyaluronic acid and collagen gradually support a rounder contour; in the dermis, texture firms and fine lines soften. Deep expression lines are best considered alongside botulinum toxin. Miso Clinic in Daegu (4F Bombom Building, 125 Dongdeok-ro, Jung-gu, Daegu; +82 53-428-2700) stocks both kinds.

Two kinds of forehead concern

  • Flatness or hollowing — a flat or dipped forehead; a subcutaneous volume issue.
  • Fine lines and texture — fine creasing from thinner skin; a dermal issue.
  • Expression lines — deep horizontal lines from raising the brows; muscle-driven, so botulinum toxin comes first.

Treatment and course

There is fullness straight away from the hyaluronic acid; around weeks two to three it can look back to baseline as the HA absorbs; then collagen builds support gradually over weeks to months.

I start small and decide whether to add after seeing the face again a few weeks later.

With the temples

The side of the forehead runs into the temple; filling both together rounds the upper face naturally. See the temple column.
