Can XERF and Rejuran be combined?
“I heard XERF plus Rejuran is a good combination.” Half right, with conditions. Different layers mean they can be planned together, but there is an order and an interval.
The short answer
XERF and Rejuran can be planned together. XERF heats the sagging structure below the dermis; Rejuran builds a recovery environment inside the dermis. No overlap. Miso Clinic does XERF first and places Rejuran two to four weeks later. Not the same area on the same day: nobody could tell what did what, and no data shows what RF heat does to freshly placed material.
Why XERF first
RF heat contracts collagen and starts a repair response. Adding Rejuran’s recovery environment into a dermis where that response is under way lets the two purposes follow on. The reverse, placing Rejuran and then heating straight away, has no human data on what happens to the PN. If Rejuran went first, wait four weeks or more before XERF.
Why Rejuran pairs well with XERF
- It does not drive a foreign-body reaction, so it is light on a dermis that has just been heated.
- It degrades, so it does not constrain the next RF plan. PCL-class materials cannot be reversed, so the next RF plan must be set before placing them.
- It covers what RF does not: texture, fine lines, hydration.
When not to combine
- Same area, same day
- Non-reversible material (PCL, PLLA, CaHA) in the area — adjust area or timing
- Broken skin barrier — recovery first

Rejuran a few days after XERF?
Better once redness and warmth have settled. Two weeks at least, four to be comfortable.
