Rejuran in Daegu — seven things to settle in consultation
Seven things are worth leaving a Rejuran consultation with — the formulation, the sessions, the papules, the plane, the goal, any overlap, and when to contact the clinic. Once those seven are in hand, the consultation has done its job.

① Which formulation
Rejuran is not one product. It divides into Healer · HB · HB PLUS, and they differ in what they target and how the treatment feels. HB has hyaluronic acid added, so it shows less immediately after placement; HB PLUS contains lidocaine, so discomfort tends to ease as the session goes on.
If the formulation is never named, it is fair to ask “which one?” The differences are in Rejuran HB versus regular Rejuran.
② Sessions and intervals
Rejuran is degraded by the body, so it is not finished in one session — it is built up over a course. We run three to four sessions, three to four weeks apart.
After the course we decide by the state of the skin, not the calendar — if it is holding, there is no reason to add; when dryness and texture return, a single top-up. The reasoning is in why Rejuran takes more than one session.
③ What the papules are
Each placement point sits slightly raised afterwards. This is physical swelling where the material sits in the dermis, and a different phenomenon from the aggregation nodules that matter with particulate products. It usually settles within a day or two.
So we say before treatment that the face on the day is not the result, and if something important is close we suggest moving the date. More in Rejuran bumps: why they form.
④ Which plane, and how it is divided
Rejuran targets the dermis. It is placed point by point rather than spread as a sheet, so what decides the result is the plane and the spacing of the points.
- Plane first, then the division of points.
- Thin areas such as the periorbital region get less volume and a more exactly held plane.
- By hand or by injector changes spacing and evenness — set out in hand injection versus injector.
⑤ Texture or volume
Separating this one thing settles half the consultation. Rejuran answers only for dermal texture and density.

⑥ Overlap with another booster
If you have had another booster recently, say so first. We do not place two on the same day — a reaction could not then be attributed to either.
We place one, review the skin, and then decide the combination and the order. Which goes first is decided by whichever has fallen further.
⑦ When to contact the clinic
The last thing worth leaving with is the answer to “what am I watching for, and when do I call?” Ours is this.
- Pain that does not settle
- Pain worsening on one side only
- Skin turning white or purple
- Any change in vision
- Swelling with redness, heat and tenderness together
- Papules that have not settled after several days
In any of these, do not count days — contact us. Patients treated here are given a direct line.
The order we work in
- What has been lost, first. Dermal density, volume, or laxity — Rejuran answers only for the first.
- Then the formulation, against pain sensitivity, schedule and area.
- Then sessions — three to four, three to four weeks apart, then by the state of the skin.
- Papules and downtime are said first, starting with the face on the day not being the result.
- Deciding against it is also an outcome. If volume is the main concern, we do not recommend Rejuran.
What we do not do — we do not present before-and-after photographs as evidence (Medical Service Act art. 56(2)), and we do not discuss prices in columns or on the site. When price comes first, the plane, the formulation, the sessions and the contact thresholds get less attention than they should.

What should I ask at a Rejuran consultation in Daegu?
“Which formulation, into which plane, over how many sessions?” One question is enough. If the formulation, the plane and the session count all come back, there is a plan behind it. Add the contact thresholds and the consultation is complete.
Is there more than one Rejuran?
Yes — Healer · HB · HB PLUS. HB has hyaluronic acid added and shows less immediately after placement; HB PLUS contains lidocaine and is easier on discomfort. We choose against the goal and the schedule.
How many sessions?
Three to four, three to four weeks apart, as one course — a degradable material is built up rather than finished in one. After the course we top up by the state of the skin, not the calendar.
My face looked raised on the day — is that normal?
Those are the papules — physical swelling where the material sits in the dermis, usually settling within a day or two. They are a different phenomenon from aggregation nodules. If something important is close, we suggest moving the date.
Will Rejuran restore lost volume?
Rejuran is not a filling product. It targets dermal texture and density. If volume is the main concern we look at a filling material with you instead — and in that case we do not recommend Rejuran.
I had another booster recently — can I have this now?
We separate them in time. On the same day a reaction cannot be attributed to either. We first note what went where, and when, place one, review the skin, and then decide the combination.
What am I watching for afterwards?
Pain that does not settle / pain worsening on one side only / skin turning white or purple / any change in vision / swelling with redness, heat and tenderness together / papules that have not settled after several days. In any of these, do not count days — contact us.
